OCB Engineers, a group company commenced its operations in the year 1984. Initially, it started its business activity in the area of marketing of power transmission equipment, waste and water management systems, pumping and piping systems and systems engineering packages catering to the Process Industries like Sugar, Paper,Distilleries and Allied Industries, as well as Engineering and Manufacturing Industries. The company also marketed products for Greaves Cotton & Co.,Crompton Greaves, NGEF Ltd., WASP Ltd., McNeil & Magor and Ion Exchange(I) Ltd. etc.

OCB has executed in excess of 150 projects in the last 30+ years, in WTP, softening and filtration plants as well as Systems Engineering, Material Handling and Power Transmission Projects, Lift Irrigation Schemes, EOT Cranes and Structural Engineering Projects etc.

Based on the above experience and the engineering expertise attained, OCB ventured into execution of Balance of Plant(BoP) contracts in power sector since the year 2001 and systems integration of Sugar and Process Plant and modernization as a prime focus activity. The BoPs executed comprised of Water Treatment Plants, Cooling Towers, Pumping and Piping Systems and auxiliaries, related Electrical Systems and Fuel Handling Systems, Fire Fighting Systems, IBR and Non –IBR Piping, Plant Water Systems etc. and accepting the complete BoP contracts inclusive of all civil works, land development and intake water systems as well.

OCB Engineers in the last decade and half, has focused on providing complete solutions in the Sugar, Power and Process sectors and has successfully executed and commissioned more than 22 projects in the power, co-gen and related sectors.
