Built Water Lifting System comprising of : Intakewell, Jackwell and 10km pipeline.
For a 40 MW power station at Chandrapur contract was executed for water supply to the plant. The work consisted of detailed study of river water flow during the entire year, selection of ideal spot for locating the open top intake well and a short distance away a jackwell cum pump house. The pumps were designed for pumping the water with a head of 85 mtrs. The pipeline was 15 kms in length and the pumping system was engineered for flow of water at the rate of 14400 m³ per day.
